EU pushes e-waste rules toward prevention
The European Environmental Bureau (EEB) and a coalition of civil society organisations and businesses are urging the EU to shift its e-waste rules toward prevention. The revision comes as Europe has placed more than 14.4 million tonnes of electrical and electronic equipment on the market in 2023, up 89% since 2012.
