Editorial Policy
Theecoroom publishes factual reference and explanatory material on the state of the natural world and the systems designed to protect it. We will not publish content relating to gambling, betting, or financial speculation. We do not present health, legal, or financial advice as instruction, nor do we report on the private lives of individuals. Our content is built from verified sources, and we do not invent quotes, statistics, or scenarios.
Our work is divided into core reference sections and a news reporting section. The reference pages, such as those on ecosystems, protection instruments, and species, are maintained as stable, objective overviews intended for long-term use. They are updated only when significant new, verified information becomes available. Our news reporting covers current events and developments, which is separate from our evergreen reference material and clearly identified as such.
Where claims or data cannot be independently verified through established sources, we will note this uncertainty within the content. We either omit such claims or clearly state their unverified status, preferring to leave a gap rather than publish potentially misleading information. Our priority is the accuracy and reliability of the factual record we are building.
All images used on theecoroom are credited to their original source where a credit exists. We use real photographs and will never publish an image of a real person's face that has been generated by artificial intelligence software. Illustrative graphics are used only for explanatory diagrams and are clearly labelled as such.
Readers with corrections, suggestions, or concerns about our content are encouraged to contact us for review. Correspondence should be addressed to the editorial team via the contact method provided on the site. We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently.
